Alex Reid has always had a deep passion for horror and during college he began writing his own horror short stories. Authors such as Stephen King and Junji Ito inspired Alex to keep writing and to keep delving into the world of horror. Alex hopes to create that feeling of uneasiness that his favorite authors do so masterfully. He was first published on Literally Stories with a tale called “Watching it Move”.
He has been published by Madhouse Books Publishing with his story “Joe Aster’s Train.” A story titled “Iron” appeared in Fear Forge Anthology published by Horrorsmith Publishing. “Nathan’s House” a story of a demented child and his loyal dogs was published in Kids Are Hell! by Hellbound Books Publishing. His debut novel One Must Go was released in 2024 by Wicked House Publishing and reached #1 new release in supernatural horror.
His beautiful wife Meghan and loving parents are a constant source of inspiration as well as his adorable house pig Steffen.
